SC efficiency advice...
As anyone who knows me will attest..I like to do my own work and like to know what is going on in my car...what I would like to do is list the pertinent items I feel may have the most impact on my particular performance and ask for advice on changes or things to stick with based on experienced members tests...
1999 GXE Auto 59,000 miles
Stillen Oil Cooler Castrol GTX 5W-30
Hayden Tranny cooler 401
Mobiletek VB
V2 blower w/pancake filter
3.6 pulley
Vortech FMU w/8:1 disk
SARD FPR (just installed today)
Stillen Y-Pipe
Allied 22" resonator
Magnaflow muffler on stock piping
S-AFC set with no mappings
EGT and Boost guage
235/45/17 Pirelli P7000 tires @ 28 psi
What I am looking for is advice/settings changes relating to how well it can be expected to perform efficiency wise, not necessarily expect a windfall of information but perhaps a tweak here or there to make it run better. The last track meet, I was very disappointed in how it ran, albeit consistent...for street tires. I feel I was running extremely rich for conditions prior to Adj FPR (idle pressure was 44, now 36 psi) I will not run at the track without my drag radials again...I swear.
I have run better times/traps on the lowest jet settings on the bottle and was really optimistic about how the car would be running...I could not have been more wrong.
I am planning on getting it dyno tuned soon...perhaps in the next month...after that I again will take it to the track for a refreshing run down the 1320.
So any help offerred will be greatly appreciated...

Tracy,
Why do you have an 8:1 FMU? The 6:1 which comes with the kit is already tuned too rich... I just did a "run" in 3rd and my peak EGT was 750C... I just gotta put in that Sard after Thomas sends me the right offrail fitting so I can drop my base FP down with my Walbro. I'm probably at 44 (I don't have a gauge).
You can probably drop the base FP at idle to 32-34 as well.

I'm at 32psi base fp, and I'm getting on avg 17.2 mpg
Fuel filter and plugs are new. I honestly don't know what else to change
, and no I am not boosting THAT much.

Chunger's right. I'm running the 6:1 with the 3.33" pulley on my V1. My fuel pressure at idle is ~38-42psi. I get HORRIBLE gas mileage, I mean it's pathetic. I get like 15-18mpg.

My 92 Exploder got really bad gas mileage after a leak developed at the header/cross-over pipe junction. The leak allowed air to enter the exhaust stream, and the O2 sensor detected the extra oxygen. This caused the ECU to try to correct for what it thought was a lean AFR, dropping my mileage from a normal 17 mpg down to about 12 mpg.
