SC Install...day 1

Well, worked on the SC from 7am to 4pm today. Got a lot more accomplished than I thought I would.

All that's left to do is the intake piping, FMU install, and air filter on the SC. Should be done by tomorrow afternoon.

I ran into a lot of alignment problems with the blower/plate. It just couldn't get happy. I had to bolt it up/unbolt it about 4 times to get most of the bolts in.

Can't wait to get this running tomorrow!

Good job Eric. You're flying. So between the pre-work that you did and then today's 9 hours, how many hours do you think you have into it so far? I'd like for you to beat my 40 and it certainly sounds like you will. Are the instructions helping? Do you have a friend helping you? Keep us informed, good luck!

I'm only around 10 total right now (only about 8 yesterday...had to eay you know!). I figure 5 tops today and I'll be done.

I get to skip all of the electronics work for the aux. fuel pump, because I'm not installing it...so that will lower my install time quite a bit.

I've got my dad around to lend me a hand. So far all he's had to help me with is holding the coolant hose up so I could access the alternator bolt. Other than that, its been all me!

Yeah, you're instructions are great! I'll send you a complete review of them once I'm done (tonight).

I guess I won't be able to go shopping in Buffalo any more if I want to keep my doors intact. (I hear S/C's blow them off).

Almost made a trip to your city this week Eric but had to go the Detroit instead, was looking for some of those 15" Millenia wheels.

Hope your taking some pics.

Well, if you're ever coming to Buffalo let me know and I'll buy you a drink for sure!

Pics coming tomorrow after work. Didn't take any while I was working, as I find it just slows me down too much!
