Hey, i have a 4th gen with 130k miles on the motor and I was wondering if a sc would shorten the life of my engine?

 

It won't extend its life, that's for sure.

If done right and taken care of, it shouldn't effect engine life too much. However, whenever you add power, you add stress, which will shorten its life.

First thing would be to do a compression test and see what kind of shape the engines in now.
