question about sc install ?

Is the cam sensor retainer plate a must for a install on a 96 max.
The part seems to be missing out of my kit, but I was told it will
work with out the plate?
I am told the plate moves the sensor 45 degress out of the way of
the blower?

That shouldn't make a difference in all honesty... it may be tight, but it will fit

Ok another question, the sleeve that you hammer into the pulley without rails, does the sleevecome with the kit or is it removed from the factory idler pulley?

while the plate is off place the pulley and the sleeve onto the plate as if you were going to install it and place the 19MM and start tigtening it down it will compress the sleeve into the pulley. Thats what I did

It comes with the kit. Should be in the bag with the idler pully.

Neither do I. I mounted my blower bracket without disconnecting the cam sensor harness, so that the bracket presses the harness against the timing case. No problems so far.

Ok this sucks, I don't happen to have the sleeve in my ider pulley bag. I'm probably blind, but I can't seem to find that part in the Part Number sticky in this forum, does anyone know hte part number on that sleeve? Thanks.
