Just did it yesterday during an install and it ran perfectly. I wonder if there's a loss from sucking air through a blower that's not moving? Took me only 5 minutes to swa belts. Looks like this is a quick way to do comparisons at a track or dyno, no?

so you just used shorter belt and bypass the SC? Another thing that I was worried about was the oil entering the blower. According to Kevin, it is gravitation drain and regardless the blower is spinning or not, it will not damage the blower.
It doesnt suck in that much air as NA because of too many obstruction inside the SC. I tried it when my belt was shredded. You can try to install an intake with the midpipe and MAF adapter to get NA baseline.
