Any of you guys F@#$ up this badly?
Well I've been complaining bout a grinding/rattling... it turns out that my mechanic decided not to put in the lower mounting bolt for the alternator back in the day, so it was just movin around, having a dandy time...
Anyhoo, I put everythin back together, retighten the belt... and apparently forget to tighten the lower pulley nut.
So I go to courtesy to order the lower mounting bolt for the alternator... and on my way back.. here a clanking sound, then a ping... I knew exactly what it was... battery light, and brake light come on... I'm like ****.
So I slow down... and my little friend Mr. Belt tensioner pulley goes on rolling... so i stop the car, go out in the street, and pick up the tensioner pulley, the bearing, and the nut... and wad my sc belt up behind the headlight, and drive home feelin like a monkey....
Yeah, sometimes DIY isn't a great thing if you're absent minded

I did EXACTLY that after installing my SC....
I never did find the pulley, however...had to go to a junkyard for a new one.

My biggest mess up was not connecting the air ambient sensor and was only boosting 5PSI
when asked by other members, and I also forgot to connect a coil pack and the MAF and the motor sounded funny and idled funny. Thats about it.
