Tranny cooler is a must, a valvebody would help....

If you're running the 6 lbs of boost with the regular pulley, get a good set of guages to monitor your car with... www.summitracing.com

The more boost you plan on running, the more parts/ money we're talking.

are you 4th gen or 5th gen? if you are 4th gen....you might want to look into larger injectors for high boost. Otherwise, the aux pump comes with the kit will be sufficient to deliver.

EGT is a must. IMO

 

recipe for 10 lbs boost

oem injectors are fine

8:1 fmu disc if using vortech

1 step colder plugs if necessary

EGT guage tapped into exhaust manifold

Fuel Pressure guage

 

do not go to level 10

Why? I fugured that if and when I blew my auto tranny i would do a Level 10 or Maximum said that they could make a bullet proof tranny.
I don't want to go 5 speed.

I know level 10 is not what it's cracked up to be, they use paper clutches and they are not all that...It's a waste of money...I didn't say go 5 speed I dont' recomend that either. I recomend finding a shop that is used to doing "performance" auto trannys, your gonna need to search around I dont' know where you are, but there are places. I'm the only guy to my knowledge on here that has a fully custom auto, and i can tell you it's far stronger than a 5 speed, and shifts better than a 5 speed so I'm not talking out of my butt.

 

I am in Texas. I see you are in NC. How much did it cost you.
I figure a well built auto tranny would shift faster than most people can shift a 5 speed under boost.

 

I was asked not to say, as it was a hookup price. I didn't have it done in NC though it was MD, I will say it's no more than a 5 speed swap and far better and your right it shifts faster than you can snap your fingers. If you have specific q's feel free to email me or im me over aol.
