FPR question

I'm temporarily switching down to the oem fpr; will my top fuel pressure be affected?... With the sard, i'd hit around 100 psi or so.... can the stock fpr flow that much?

FMU will take over the FPR once the boost kick in.

Since the fmu is in series with the fpr, whichever is set for the higher pressure is the one that controls the fuel pressure. So at 1 psi, if the fpr is set at 43 psi for instance, and the fmu is set at 28 psi, then your fuel pressure is going to be 43 psi. Once the boost pressure gets high enough to where the fmu is producing 43 psi, then it starts to control the fuel pressure.

I know that the fmu regulates the pressure once boost kicks in, but that base f/p still affects what you see at full boost....

so what's the max flow rate on the oem...

HAHAHA... greatest thing happened today...

My fpr started working fine, I took it out and ran air through it... it's working like a charm again... this leads me to believe something small may have been getting caught in the line or something... who knows...

Paul, it'd be great if you could still pull it.... thomas, i'm gonna do the aem anyway, sard is fine up top, but it still does the pressure flipping, although you CAN adjust it at idle...
