Do I need to grind the plate for a 3.33" pully?

I think 3.125 or smaller gives a big diff on butt dyno. you boost faster with smaller pulleys too, little tap of gas pedal you are already in 0 on your boost gauge.

I just realized...the post that you need to grind, well, I stripped the threads out of the SC for that bolt before I even installed it.

Should I just cut it off, or is it needed to help support the supercharger as well?

Obviously YOU don't need it

If this post is completely removed, I wonder if it allows for a belt change without removing the S/C assembly... You'd probably still need to grind open that big hole where the center of the S/C pulley goes though.
Nice "side effect" of the procedure.
