MEVI and SC
What RPM have you guys found is the best for the switchover point? I used 5000 RPM, but some of the NA guys (Neal and Dave) suggested 5300 RPM or so.
I haven't been on a dyno yet, but was wondering what you guys found as the best.

5000 works best for me every time. But some people have gotten different results.

When i was s/c i had mine at 5100 and there was a small hiccup in the hp/tq line when I dynoed 326whp. It recovered about 5400 so I have since changed to 5300 and the switchover is much smoother. I am not boosted anymore and neal and dave both like 5300 and it sounds right, so I am staying here.

Well, I set it to 5300RPM today.
At the same time, however, I fixed a boost leak.
So it seems faster, but I don't know if it's the switch or the leak.
I'll play with it some more next weekend. I don't drive during the week.

now is this 5300rpm's as indicated on the tach....or as seen on a OBD scanner or something more accurate...like a digital readout from the ecu's rpm wire?
looks like the consensous is that 5300rpm's is optimal...doesn't it take 100rpm's to complete the switchover? so it is finishing at 5400 then? and that is optimal...no dip in graph? or would I set it at 5200 and it opens completely at 5300?
