Looking at building my own custom turbo kit....yeah heard this all before right? Can someone run thru the things I need to really think about just in case I've missed anything. I think one of the main things I will be looking into is ordering the high volume oil pump to make sure we are pumping not only enough oil but thats its keeping up while I'm up high boosting. Long story short if anyone in atlanta area wouldnt mind me looking at their turbo so I can kinda get some ideas for my kit formulated...and make up for the shortcomings of other kits. I'd really appreciate it.
I think that covers it. My plans were to run a smaller turbo, even thought about a t3?? to small perhaps?

i dont think anyone makes a high volume oil pump and i dont really see the need for one, and the largest t3 avalible would work but dont expect a t3 off a saab to be big enough

IIRC the VQ35DE oil pump is stronger (more pressure) than the VQ30DE pump. Should be a direct swap too.

Theres no need for a highvolume pump. The oil pressure sending unit pushing out about 60+psi of oil. I dont think you need anymore than that or even come close to it.

I live in ATL by the way, I live way north of downtown though, Canton GA. You plan on fabricating the entire kit yourself as I did just one week ago?
