SAFC Mounting Location

Anyone have any advice and/or pictures?

I can't put it under the headunit because there are guages there. I'd like to it be somewhere visible so I can see the info.

I'm thinking either on the dash above the center vent or on the steering wheel column. Suggestions?

not sure if 4th gens have a sunglass holder at the top, but I removed that flip for the sunglasses, and bent a bracket and double sticked that to the SAFCII and then the whole thing up in the sunglass holder spot. When sitting I see the reading on it just by looking up, dont need to fiddle around with it to see it.

No, 4th gens don't have that. I've considered removing the visor up there and putting it there...but I like having the sun visor.

I do like that idea though.

Those are the shots of my SAFC mounted to give you an idea on maybe how you can throw one together.

I love that idea...but that's exactly where the sunroof controls are located in a 4th gen.

Well I would have referred you to my Car Domain site but the pictures are all jumbled up but mine is double-sided taped to the ashtray so its still functional but not out on dash or too obvious...I still dont like the silver model though...maybe I should trade up to the black one type-II

Ian -

Again, I like that idea, but I've got the stock head unit still (double DIN), and guages under that. No free pockets.
