SC belt reccomendations and size, also oil

I did a search (and asked some other members) and only really found what I would need for a V2. I am going to be running a V1 with a 3.33 pulley and was wondering what would be a good strong reliable belt to use, what size, and where to get it.

Also, should I increase the weight of my oil when moving to SC? Right now I am using 5w-30 for winter, should I go ahead and move to 10W-30 or even 15w-40 (maybe in the summer?)

Thanks in advance

belt - gates belt. I dunno the size that u need to use since you have a v1.

oil - I stay with 5w30 and the oil report seems fine. I switch to synthetic after the SC install.

I agree with him stay with 5w30 for winter, if it gets p!ss hot where you live then consider going up to 10w.

Belt you can go with a gator back belt from Goodyear you can pick that up from autozone but dunno the size

Jeremy,

I am running the 69.5, Dayco Poly Cog belt. As far as I know, the same size belt can be used for the 3.33 - 3.125.

Also I run 10W-30 regular oil, and always have been. Castrol Syntec. 85k on the engine, 60k on the blower, and all seems perfectly well. I have no plans to switch to synthetic.

Thanks Craig, I'll PM you after I get the SC to let you know I am sending the money order for the pulley. Is anyone here running a 69.5 belt with a 3.33 pulley on a V1, just for clarification?

Sexima ran Mobil 1 through the blower and says that the bearings are perfect, I switched to synthetic last week (so that I could have one oil change while on synthetic before I install the SC) to keep the blower happy and according to the oil analysis here. The VQ is obviously very well ballanced and has very nice piston rings, I have no doubt that conventional oil would be fine. I just want to give my engine the best, and the blower what it is used to. Considering the increased temps with the SC just to be on the safe side I will probably run 10W-30.

Thanks for the reply
