4th Gen injector pics (90-94 Z32, 95-96 Z23 and A32)

In case anyone was looking for pictures of any kind, I now have 90-94 Z32 injectors, 95 Z32's and stock ones (well, I've got 3 sets of stock ones).

I'm returning the 94Z's for my money back, and the 95's will be going in the car soon...I hope...

Brown are the early Z, purple the 95, and red the stock. Only one brown one is pictured because I'm not going to bother pulling the rest from the fuel rail. Its a PITA.

If you look at the top picture, the black piece that holds the screen around the 3rd purple injector from the left is broken. The screen is intact. Any reason I couldn't install this injector like that?

Also all the caps on the Z injectors are busted. The caps from Maxima injectors will fit just fine, correct? They appear to. What exactly do those suckers do?

I can't say that 90-94 Z32 injectors wouldn't work. They seem to fit the 4g fuel rail just fine. I think it could be a simple matter of splicing in new wiring harnesses to get them to work.

But I don't know that for sure.

Does having the Z32 injectors make that much of a difference? I thought it wasn't that much if any notice unless you were boosted.. Is that correct if not please correct me.

The 90-94 Z32 injectors use a different fuel rail from the 95-96. In order to get the earlier models to work correctly, you will need a 90-94 Z32 fuel rail, and you will also need to get your lower manifold machined to work properly with the injectors.
