W3rd!!!!!

Give us the rundown on how it all works and how it goes in and junk when you get done with it!!!

I was looking at one the other day and was seriously considering using it instead of a JWT ECU....(with my 370cc's)

Thomas, I hate to ask, but have you done anything to the tranny?

Not the clutch, the tranny.

And I can't wait to see the dyno and numbers

Awesome

Nice to hear my predictions of it were true. 370cc injectors being the largest that'll work was so BS. How big did you input them to be? Was it a straight 240cc (or 220, I forget the stock size) -> 555cc number plugin?

Thomas,

Thats a zoo of wires there......

Question, Since you got the eManage, what harnesses you using? I know you are using the MAF, Injectors, what else? Also does the injection harness work for our cars? if so, why not use that instead of the J&S?

Do you leave the J&S there or tuck it under the seat? Also why didnt you pull all the wires through the console and then under the seat? Is there not enough room in the console? Sorry if you think im critisizing your setup.

i haven't been able to get the ignition control to work with the J&S. they work by themselves, but i can't have them both wired at the same time for some reason. Greddy has new firmware out that may fix the porblem so I'll try that. Until then, i'm running the J&S cuz i know that works.

the J&S is supposed to be under the seat. it's unbelievable how much stuff i have under my center console. the wires would probably fit, but i'd have to reorganize and rewire many electronics. i hate wiring. i'll fix it later.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssss!!!!! How hard was the install? Do you think you can help us out with the instructions? Is there now a setting that allows the 550 injector sizing? I thought the greddy only had a setting for 50% greater.

The eManage web site would have us believe it's a simple matter of telling the computer the old injector sizes and the new injector sizes. If the software hasn't been changed and they haven't left anything out, it should be as simple as typing "240" and "555", hooking up the harness/installing the new injectors, and starting it up.

Thomas are you using the injector harness and/or the Greddy MAP sensor?

initially, i had the emanage set to 240cc --> 555cc, FP 38psi. during the first 5 seconds or so after cold starting the car, the idle would be a little rough, but it'd smooth out by itself after a few seconds. A/F was around 13.5 at idle.

today i set the e-manage to 370cc --> 555cc, FP at 32psi. initial roughness went away, and it idled even more smoothly than before. A/F now is ~12.8 at idle.

i'll do some more tuning throughout the week and see what happens. going well so far.

Gabe, how's the car? hit me up.

was there an initial fuel map that you had to install or was the thing basically plug and play?

The install requires splicing, not just plug-n-play.

It's a piggy-back setup, so the car "runs" off the stock maps until the eManage maps are used to ADJUST the signals in/out of the stock ECU.

The lowered base fuel pressure will help during startup/warmup, but the eManage must be reducing the injector duty cycle somehow, probably by decreasing MAF voltage AND actually over-riding the stock pulse width once you add the injector subharness. Still unclear to me though.
