LS1 kill post, from him on another forum (+vid)

After taking a mini road trip tonight (~1hr), I found a little trouble in their "scene". After a Z28 told me I wasn't worth his gas, they started to realize I was serious when we were willing to drop any amount of $ on me pulling 5 cars on the Z.

A turbo discovery, and few minutes later they are calling one guy that they said would definately pull me, a built '00 transam.

"The guy is on his way." At that point, LOTS of bashing of the maxima happened!

I get home later tonight.. and had a friend calling me "you're on the forums..."

I was shocked he posted, cool guy (and payed for my gas)

I also got a run in with a T3/T4'd Jetta...
VIDEO You can see how lovely traction was in 2nd and 3rd tonight, useless!

It was a post by the transam WS6 owner (who I raced) on a local forum.. the only response is from a friend of mine

TurboEK
Modeldater

"its a slow maxima
he cant hold my honda par "

it's a big joke of my friends to say my car is slow and overrated - so that people will race me haha.

Good run! you thought a Jetta was fast? I thought the same thing after we triple teamed one. It was me bags and Max4speed. I was supercharged then. We beat that car so bad I thought he was not boosted. He was also spraying Ntitrous onto his intercooler. That didnt help much. We basically did what you did to him. He was pushing 18PSI. BijanGXE set that race up for us that night.

when did everyone leave the meet yesterday hal?
some of us went to rafferty's,came back, and blammo there was nobody there. good turnout though. i wish 6 turbo maximas showed up like the sr20 crew though. sounds like you got 0 traction in 2nd and 3rd as usual. Did I ever ask you about that stand alone SR20"silvia" you pulled on about a month ago. Potter(owner of the sr20) said he's tired of getting walked by turbo maximas. LOL

Jay25: no, I didnt expect him to be real fast.. he wanted to do it for fun, and a big crew got on the interstate going my way towards home so why not

Need a forced induction Max

Man Hal, I am always checking your site for new downloads. You must have the fastest street Max

I plan to be running forced induction this spring HOPEFULLY!. I know on your site there is an available kit for the Max, and I have been in a toss up between it and the Stillen V2. Either way I would make it out to 10 psi boost maximum. I think that should be safe for the VQ. I know both T/C and S/C are reliable when set up right. I am leaning towards the V2 because it is tested through Stillen and with a couple of pulley and belt mods it seems very reliable. I have noticed a couple people, Dixit is one, that have posted on here that have problems with the turbo kit. I don't know if he's blowing smoke over something he did or what, but I am wondering if all the kinks have been worked out on it. When I do this, I plan on doing it completely right. I love my car and want it fast but reliable I don't want to take short cuts to save a few hundred dollars, it's not worth it.

I know how both T/C and S/C work and why they work. I would like the turbo kit because it boosts much quicker and will give more power at 10 psi. I am just curious as to what the problems are that people are having with the kit. Oh, and what compression ratio is the engine at with the kit?

Thanks, and keep up the kills with the max!

Slammed95, haha - yeah I had my 3" exhaust put back together. BUT, since that time I got rid of it, and put my factory cat and full exhaust back on so it is SILENT. I put an exhaust cutout on the downpipe though (at my front left tire), so I can very quickly change between SILENT and NO exhaust. That video is with the exhaust dump open, so it's same as downpipe only

Klown: my motor is stock, 10:1 compression
