Well, you can disconnect the S/C belt and put the stock belt back on. You'll be N/A that way. But when you go N/A, are you talking about bringing the car completely back to stock? Or just going N/A to have the S/C worked on or what?

Just put the stock belt back on. Should work with the V2's tensioner pully just fine. Its what I've got now.

I also plugged the oil feed line. I don't know if you _have_ to, but in my case I did.

Yes it will work. Iansw is setup that way and works just fine. He was having belt slip problems, but that's because I didn't put the alternator to s/c bracket bolt back (it was a PITA, so Ian and I decided to leave it off..) and so the everytime ian tightened the belt more, the alternator would turn. Ian put that back on an it's working fine now. Just do that and plug up the oil return line and you'll be fine.

I have a long trip ahead and was wondering the same (chicago-NY) don't need to break down in the winter.

Isn't the SC itself restricting the intake or is it drawing sufficent amounts? I'm assuming 5th gens are the same.

I just put the stock belt on, pulled my oil feed line, plugged up the oil return hose, removed the SC completely, put the bracket back on the engine, and slapped a filter on the end of my SC piping.

Drives fine. Maybe a little high-end loss due to the very long "intake". But no big deal - I can do fine with that for a few months while I get my new setup together.

Its a big restriction...but the car still gets plenty of air to run. It feels noticably slower than before the SC...but the point isn't to be fast. As long as it runs for now, I'm happy.
