u have a 2002 gle and unfortunately there is no supercharger for it. is it more logical for me to spend the money on a turbocharger kit, or should i install an intake, cat back exhaust, high flow cat, fuel pump, and put in NOS instead?

All motor maxima probally is your best bet, much cheaper than turbo. High compression pistons, cams, headers, intake, catback, high-flow cat, pulleys and ecu.

forget the fuel pump, everything else with a 60 shot dry.. i did that with the 190hp engine and oh boy what a thrill. 14.0 secs easy in the 1/4..
and i did it for years without no damage to my engine...

Isn't N/A power MORE expensive than boost? If you run a $4-5k turbo putting out lets say 350hp, how much do you think it would cost to get that much power from a N/A motor?

3.5 liter engine stroked to 3.8 liters
High compression pistons, don't need connecting rods
Cams, titanium retainers, and springs
Port and polish
Custom Valves
Custom intake manifold or port and polished manifold
Bigger throttlebody like pathfinder one or custom made manifold with 90 mm mustang throttlebody.
Headers and dump tube or headers, high flow cat, and 2.75 inch catback
Underdrive pulley
And most importently tuning. Ecu with 7500-8000 limiter and proper N/A tuning throughtout the power band.

It is really up to you, I just want to see someone make a crazy *** N/A Maxima.

Nos, proper tranny care, and exhuast would be the cheapest.

Jime ran a 12.1 with nitrous, if I'm not mistaken. And that's with the VQ30

This is definitely not cheaper than a turbo.

I mean all this has to be close to $10K or so.

A custom 3.5 turbo would probably be $5-6K. No real reason it would be more than a 3.0 turbo.

But for cheap power, nothing beats nitrous. Especially if he plans to mainly drag race.
