twin turbo's
Well, back to the topic then, my whole point was that a twin turbo setup on a maxima is in no way a good idea from a financial or value standpoint. I can understand doing it if you have a lot of money and are one of those guys that wants to do it for the hell of it, or just because people say you can't! (hey, I'm one of those guys!) However, I was basically saying that if you just want power, you might as well just do a single turbo setup since it will be much more economical and still provide you with more than enough power. Everything got OT because some fools decided to talk about "runing 9's and 10's" etc. Anyone that knows anything would know that is a hell of a lot harder and more expensive than most fairly cheap RWD vehicles. I could get a Datsun Z to run 10's for $5k or less. Strip it, do a built 350ci swap and find some ghetto slicks and you are most of the way there (it won't be pretty but it will move). Of course it's more detailed then that but it's a hell of a lot easier than WRONG WHEEL DRIVE! I myself have decided on doing a single turbo setup on my vg, with a decently sized HKS dbb turbo (maybe a gt3040 or gt3240). 300rwhp and I will be more than satisfied.

I'm sure you meant 300 "front" WHP since all 3rd Gens were FWD (unless you did some modding that we don't know about)
Umm here is another car in Houston, just like my friends, except he has side exit headers and 1 point higher compression, and it is a red hatch with full interior. My friend has 4 door completely stripped with dump pipe.

I have a question. Earlier in this thread someone posted that a few people named Hal and Marty have pushed the VQ to its limit on numerous occassions. Well my question is, did they do it on stock internals or was the engine fully built. If it had internals what all did it have done to it. Just curious.
