i mounted it up in the lh corner up by the a pillar

i attached it to the bracket and slid part of it inthe "roof"

still in the view, but not really noticable

Too bad its a 5th gen because thats a good spot. I'm going to put mine right underneath my headunit in the lower din. Looks flush"est" there IMO.

I like the way you have that mounted. What is that plastic piece you have it in? Is that like a fit kit for a cd player. Im looking to do something just like that..

nice setup. I'm thinking of doing something similar. I'm gonna put mine right under my dvd player (hole is actually a little too big for SAFC) and i'll fill that hole with a big piece of some black foam type protectant sponge thingy and then cut a hole to fit the SAFC in and put double sided tape on the back of the SAFC so it doesnt move....

how does that sound?

I put mine here. It does cover a bit of the speedo and tach but not the range I am interested in.
