Turboing 95-99 Maxima

Is there anything I should do to the engine before turboing it? I dont want anything serious, something that will make me able to get in 1/4 in under 14 secs. What turbo should I get?

There are a few guys that get into the 13's without a turbo or supercharger, just some N/A mods and really good driving.

If "just" you want to run 13's and aren't looking for anything too serious I'd get recommend getting a supercharger instead. A supercharger costs less, has been proven quite reliable and will easily get you into the 13's. There are often used supercharger kits for sale in the $2000 to $4000 range, depending on the accessories they come with. A turbo is much more involved and is still somewhat uncharted territory, altough it does have a greater maximum potential for power.
