Fuel pump looks like a pretty good deal, since it comes with all the extras:

Doubt the extra capacity oil pan would fit.

Why are they switching to a timing belt?

Good question~! Don't know.

Less noise? Less friction?

If I ever pull of the timing cover, I'm going to see if I can't swap to a 3rd gen VQ35 silent chain.

Maybe to tune cams? I am sure it is a lot easier than a chain.

That is not a bad price either. Are the 350z pulleys different than the maxima vq35 pullies?

Yea id like to know about the timing belt. Cause it definetely is a sprocket based system with the chain, cant just take the chain off and use a belt. Shiet.... there is baerly enough room for a belt not to mention that whole case sits in a pool of oil.

Something is wrong on that ad.

isn't that the replacement pan for PE's TT setup?.... a little pricey but would be sweeter than tapping your own upper pan (if it fit)..

I rather save 500 dollars. Unless I was going to autocross all the time.

Yep. I think oil cooler(s) would be cheaper/more effective cooling wise, but with the extra QUART or so of capacity, that would be interesting. I just doubt the pickup would be compatible/optimally located on a transverse mounted engine.

I'd also have to monitor before/after turbo install oil temps to know whether it's necessary or not, ESPECIALLY since I'd only choose water cooled CHRA turbos.

What do you mean silent chain? The VQ30 has a roller chain if that is what you're referrring to...

It has a better/quiter chain that hits the sprockets at less of an angle or something, so it's quiter the the VQ30s had.

I'll post more details tomorrow.

Its a pretty good deal. Gruppe-S is very rep. We have dealt with Max there numerous times.
