Secret to removing injectors from fuel rail?

I'm trying to remove similar injectors to the 95-99 Max(ie Sentra) from the fuel rail that's already been uninstalled, but they're being stubborn. I'm sending them out for cleaning/flow testing, so I don't want to *** them up more then I have too.

I think a bench vise would make this simpler, but I don't have one.

Any tips/advice? And yes I removed the injector "caps".

Grab some WD-40, grab some pliers. Spray the WD-40 between the injector and the fuel rail to get the rubber seals nice and slippery. After you have sprayed the WD-40, gently twist the injector left and right, left and right. Grab a screw driver, stick the flat screw driver between the injector and fuel rail and twist. Be very careful as the injector will eject high in the air if you twist the screw driver very hard. Thats how you pull injectors off without damaging them. Yes a bench vise is a great place to sinch down the fuel rail.

thats why you spray WD40 or liquid wrench, so the rubber seals become slippery.

Thanks Jay...worked like a fricken charm.

I chose WD40, since the liquid wrench said includes "teflon". Not sure if that matters, but something I don't want getting inside the injector since I'll be reusing them.
