520 Horse Max?? Now thats dedication. You would think it would be a whole lot easier just to get a V-8 domestic that already has 325 horses and make those numbers.

I'm hoping this engine is internally built? Whatever the case is, 520 hp will be impressive!

EDIT: I just looked at the pics, and thats a horrible place for the battery, please do that guy a favor and tell him to move the batt to the trunk!

I doubt you will ever attain 520 hp. You need to build the engine. The only person that cracked the 500 hp mark was hal and he had MEVI and was spraying (both of which you don't have)

And that's a real poor place to put the battery.

But I applaud your effort

you can't do anything with that much HP in a FWD. But its still great to say you've got a 500HP Max.

ROFL..........

sounds to me like a math error or mistaken manufacturer HP gains are taken too seriously.

My 90se maxima with my VQ3.5 and 6 spd trans should be pusing about 900hp according to stillen cough cough.....BS

Bah, this is too late, I was nearing this number before I got rid of the car, and I did it on stock internals.

number one rule when making big claims is...actual proof shuts mounths...not "well it setup for 520" I hear that and see guys spout off all the time, nothing new. hope he makes his goal.

Your getting flamed left and right. When are you going to take this thing to the dyno? 520HP with nitrous or without? what PSI are you talking about here? Hal did get over 500HP from what he says but he went thru more then two engines. Nice little setup.

do have a ball park guess about how much power your car was making at 14.7 psi when you blew out 3rd

i bet it was more than 520 @ the flywheel

somthing tells me this guy has nowhere near the knowledge or experience to get his car to that point without blowing somthing out even with a biult motor and trans but i guess we will have to wait and see

WTF....your first sentence doesnt make any sense. And how you would know what he's gonna make? Why do you think you're so correct.

A Maxima being Front Wheel Drive wont make the power less. I dunno what gave you that idea. There's only a power gain between transmission types.

Quit running your mouth like you know so much.

Yeah, you can make all the power you want regardless of drivetrain......it's hooking the power up....that's the big problem.
