3" exaust from warpspeed

I am planing to go for a SC setup in the future, and with this in mind a 3" exaust is a must. So as an exaust upgrade, i have chosen to go with the warpspeed 3" setup. Is this loud compared to the reg. 2.5" exaust from, lets say...greddy? or OBX? or WS Apexi? I want the sound to be louder than stock...but i want an even ballance between motor and exaust noise.. in other words, i dont want the engine louder than the exaust (stock) and i dont want the exaust to be louder than the engine (rice). Would this be a good setup for me? or does anyone else have any recomendations?

Some sound clips or personal reviews could be helpfull.

3" will be louder than your engine...3" will be louder than a 2.5" exhaust...
Get there 3" Y-pipe and build your own 3" exhaust from your y-back...it will be cheaper to do it that way....

BTW is it a MUST when you run boost to have 3" exaust? or is that just something you should THINK about having when going for boost?

Currently i have a cattman y-pipe and i am either goig to do a greddy cat-back or a custom 3'' cat-back. Would there be noticible gains with just the cat-back being 3'' and the y-pipe not being 3''? Or should i just go with 2.5''?
