How do I know the trim of my compressor wheel?

I'm trying to figure out the trim of my wheel. I bought this turbo used from on_alert and I have figured out the A/R of both the compressor and turbine side (.60 and .70 respectively) but I don't know how to find out the trim of the wheel. There is what looks like a stamp (not a metal stamp, but an ink stamp) on the compressor wheel, it is kindof smudged but there is definately a "46" on there, and what looks like a big smudged decimal point or some other marking in front of it. This would lead me to believe I have a 46 trim (which is an existing trim for garrett compressor wheels I found out) but does anyone know if this is what that stamp indicates or am I totally off base.

I did some more research and came across something that said its the (inducer area/exducer area) x 100

however to measure the radius and thusly calculate the area of the exducer i would have to take the turbo apart... is it safe to just take a turbo apart. i've never looked into that before.

Take the housing off, no problem.. MAke sure you don't damge the O ring.

DO NOT REMOVE THE SHAFT NUT/BOLT. LEAVE THE CENTER SECTION INTACT.

If you disassemable the center section/shaft, you ned to have it re-balanced.
