Quick question about MAP sensor and boost
In order to run high amounts of boost, will you need to upgrade the MAP sensor to one that allows your setup to run at 1 bar or above? Are are any of you close to running 1 bar and if you are are there upgrades available or will you need to run a MAP sensor for the 300ZX TT?
Just something that crossed my mind in class yesterday while talking to my instructor (car nut from corvetteforums.com).

I run a 3bar GM map sensor. I would have preferred using a 2bar map sensor for the added precision, but I knew I would be exceeding 2bar. Keep in mind, 1bar = atmospheric
So, my map sensor reads up to +29psi of boost
I am running ~2.15bar presently, 1.15 relative
I use MAP on my fuel map bc the MAF maxes out, (although I purchased a Z32 MAF, I will continue using MAP)
and I use it on my ignition map so I can retard a set amount of timing based on kpa vs rpm.
I don't have a standalone.
