Fuel injector colors

The old thread seems to have lost most of its pictures, so I'm starting a new one.

The main thing to remember is that the 4th gen Maxima uses the injector harness connector that has rounded corners. The earlier style connectors are rectangular with sharp corners.

This is taken from JWT's website:

If you look closely at the connector shapes of the 2nd and 3rd injectors you'll see the difference I'm talking about. The 3rd, 4th and 5th injectors from the left will all drop right in to the 4th gen Maxima.

If you are looking for 370 cc/min injectors, the ones you want for the 4th gen are the purple tops from the 95-96 Z32TT. Apparently these also come in gray. I have also seen (and used) 370 cc/min injectors that were an olive green. They have the rounded corner connector shape but have an older style injector body shape.

The Z32 NA injectors are 240 cc/min red tops, the same as the oem 4th gen Maxima.

i have a set of what appears to be 555cc 90-94 TT Z32 injectors. my question is will they be able to fit a 3rd gen maxima? i am looking to sell these, so maybe a 3rd gen owner might be able to benefit.

If you need me to host some pictures, just email them to me and I'll reply with the link to the picture. I have a domain for 10/years so they should stay around for a while.

That style injector will work on a 89-91 3rd gen VG's. 92-94 VG's & VE's use the same style injector plugs as the 4th gens

If you had a fourth gen and wanted to use the older style, style one injectors, could you if you were to cut the wiring and splice in the old connector to your fourth gens harness, just hypothetical???
