Ordered JWT

I Just got off the phone with JWT and Ill be shipping it out tomorrow to them

One question is, with the raised rev limiter, is 7000 enough of a limiter ?? they said they can go to 7200 but I would have to sign a waver form..I want to know asap so I can call back and change it to 72

JWT claims 7K is enough and If I want 7200 I will have to sign a disclaimer...

Get 7200rpm...doesn't mean you have to use it, just head room to shift at say 7000rpm.

They did warn me about the 7200 rev limit, but they never made me sign anything.

I would get 7200, I kinda want to send mine in to get the 7200 limiter instead of the 7k it has now.

JWT isn't going to cover anything even if you get the 7000 rpm rev limit. If you smoke your valvetrain with the 7000rpm rev limit what are they gonna do, rebuild your engine for you? No. Just get the 7200, doesn't mean you have to use it but if you get better results using it then you have it available to you. You won't have a valvetrain problem at either RPM anyways.

Just curious, did you send out the ecu from your car or did you get another ecu and send that to Jim Wolf Tech?

I plan on upgrading my ecu but can't really decide between the Technosquare and JWT. I'd rather have the JWT without a doubt but I heard people wait up to 2 months for them to return the ecu. Since my car is my only commuter car, I would have no choice but to purchase a used ecu from a junkyard. Technosquare returns it within a few days tops. The only downside that I know of with the technosquare is that it does not raise your rev limiter.

Also...

What was the final price you paid for the jwt ecu?

Same here. Must be a scare tactic.

But like Neal said, if they raised it to 6800 they still wouldn't cover any problems.

Doesn't make sense, does it? Except in the sense that maybe they're afraid people are going to blow their engines and then blame JWT.
