Reliability

Was wondering what the reliability of SC'd Maxima's is. I'm contemplating SCing my '01 5MT for a fairly aggressive tune (~8psi) as a daily driver that I would keep for another 4 years. Engine is 10k miles old, as is the OEM clutch. I have MANY other options I'm considering (ditching both Maxima's all together) and I'm looking to see just how viable an option this is.

Additionally, how much should I look to spend on all this (minus SC cost as I would wait for a used one) with GOOD tuning, S-AFC, ECU(if there is one for the '01?), maybe a BOV, guages, all installation, etc (other parts that I'm not mentioning). I'd be looking to do this right since this will be a long-term daily driver if done. My round about number was ~$5k with a used SC, install, etc. Does this sound right?

I would add boost right now. That motor will go along way plus it will grow up on boost like mine did from 6k miles
Right now I have 102,860 running 10psi. I didnt change from stock pulley until 72k miles. Went to 3.33 for about 15k and then the 3.125.

So have proved the reliability to be very reliable and the too early boost theory wrong.

A used kit is gonna be around $2500 I would guess from my brother purchasing one. Dont forget you will need a suspension. You cant have extra power with a soft ride cause you wont be able to control it. I would go for 10psi, safcII, a bov, boost gauge, exhaust temp gauge, act stage 1 clutch, maybe flywheel and you should be ok for a while, and def a ypipe too.
