Does The Mevi Come W/ A Throttle Body? Can You Use A Pathfinder T/b On A Mevi? Or Should You Stick W/ The Stock One.

 

with the new DE-K manifold mod...why would u still use a MEVI? I mean its your choice..but what are u basing it on?

 

No, it does not come with a TB.
It is flanged for the standard maxima TB.

 

the 2k1 mod is a little more complicated than it looks. and it is probaly more pricey in the longrun. plus the mevi is equally as good above 5000 rpm and i dont care about losing low end power. to install the 2k1 plenum you need to use the lower intake manifold, have the butterfly plates removed in it, have the holes welded over, fabricate a 4 inch plate to bolt your IAC on to, use the 2k1 fuel rail, and fabricate a plate to bolt the throttle body on to it. among a list of other things.
