tuning for turbo

if i get a custom turbo pushing 4 psi will i still need tuning? i'm a newb.. lol...

You will want to tune to some degree no matter what type of forced induction you are doing. At the least your gonna want an FMU or an SAFC along with a little bit of dyno time.

The stock MAF will meter that, but will target a little leaner AF than you would want.
Nothing an SAFC or Emanage, even an FMU couldn't clear up.
