Head Gasket/ Manifold ?'s

First off, how many of you have blown a head gasket doing FI?

Also, does the intake manifold need to be modified for FI>?

thanks

I haven't heard of too many head gasket problems. Actually I can't remember of any at all, but most of us aren't running boost that high.

You don't need to modify the IM at all when you install a TC or SC kit, but having a MEVI definitely helps, and by this weekend I'll know if the 00VI is an improvement. The larger diameter Pathfinder throttle body also probably helps, but there's been no conclusive before and after dynos to prove it.

there are only 2 things that can cause a blown head gasket

severe detonation

extreme block flex from high HP levels

so just make sure you have a good tune and you should never have to worry about it
