So who's done this sucessfully with the Stillen SC (Turbos don't count) - I'm still getting nowhere with it.

I think so far the only people are
1) StephenMax
2) delio

Anyone else?

Don't forget StephenMax has 3" discharge piping, PF TB, now ported DEK manifold, and no IAC so he blocks the throttle-plate from closing 100% to control idle.

Whoa - that might explain seomthing....I noticed my issues on the cold-start happens only when the IACV is open - once the car warms up and the IACV goes to 0% on the NProbe, the car runs fine....

Stephen - have you had the IAC blocked off ever since you put the Z32 in??!?

His Z32 MAF has been working way before the DEK manifold went on.

IF I were you, I would try some 3" cross over pipe...Im ordering mine in the next week, so its here and ready when its gets warm around here...

I'm having a little trouble remembering the sequence of my mods, but I'm sure I had the Z32 maf both with and without the IACV blocked.

I am not sure if this will help with any of your guys problems. I always aproach a mod and a problem the same way. I research and and then study and then make a descision on the best way to proceed to obtain my goals- and that goes for everything (even my full-time job as an dedicated c/c f-16 mechanic). I find that it is easier to relate every one of the emissions things into the relative understanding of a std. 350 chevy operation. I have always found that when adding in the knowledge of basic (350 operation carb) and reading forums and then the specific of the system (car make mods and diagrams, theory of op, specifics) many little problems can be resolved mechanically. The next step once all and I do mean all mechanical options are ruled out (including parts swapping) go to tuning, electronically.

However, I have read (and seen the lack of specific tuning/vs cost)enough bad things about JWT that I would never have them do anyhting unless it was the last resort. So I chose to go emanage with a very good shop in michigan (godspeed). Not sure if this helps but I help that looking at the easiest (non-technical-electrical) part swap helps.

You can find someone in your area, and swap out JWT's and see if that helps.. ??

I am the only SuperCharged Maxima in WA State.

The car runs fine without the Charge Pipe attached, so of course it's not the IACV - I wasn't thinking there.

Also runs fine without charge pipe and with the stock non-JWT ECU.

We went through all of that in the other thread.

It's definately not the MAF, ECU, vacuum leak, wiring. <once again, as we found in the last thread by doing exhaustive troubleshooting by replacing/testing parts and by datalogging with the NProbe.>

I guess the Intake pipe is the only thing to do - just haven't had the $$$ to buy the piping yet.

After that, I either build non-charged piping or go E-manage.

Or just live with it until I can afford a G35c or Audi S4.
