Firstly, I would like to say Gday from Australia

Secondly, I have a 1997 Maxima with manual transmission and the VQ30DE engine which is rated at 142kw in stock form. I am very interested in getting a supercharger for the car but have found NO information on supercharging the Australian Maxima. Can anyone on here tell me if this is possible and also what the best charger is to use??? I apologize if this has been asked before but I couldn't do a search and I browsed through as many topics as I could before I posted. I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

Vortech produces two different superchargers for the vq30de, although the second one may have replaced the first. I think stillen might distribute these, but I'm not sure. They will run you a couple grand (USD) for them, plus the install. Welcome to the org...

If the Australian Maxima is right hand drive the steering linkage may be in a different place, but I don't think you will have any issues with Stillen kit. If your car is right hand drive, could you please post some pictures both under the hood and of the car interior?

oh and STI also makes a supercharger system that actually works on the VQ20DE, its been a long time but I remember they did it was meant for a Suby but with a few mods it fits perfectly on a FWD A32 Cefiro (Maxima)
