Good luck buying just the manifold, custom fabrication is your best friend :)

For pics, check http://maxima.dynomagic.com/ - there are lots on there!

Depending on what kind of set-up you want to run there really isn't a turbo manifold. On mine it is basically just a y-pipe that runs off of the stock exhaust manifolds to the turbo. Without buying a kit looks like it is going to have to be a custom job but shouldn't be that hard because there really isn't to much to it. :hs: Good luck with your project. What kind of turbo you going to run??

plug? nah , I benefit zero from it. Infact, it just eats up my bandwidth haha, I don't mind

maximagunner, MardiGras posted his PFI feedpipe for sale today, that would be worth checking into! keep in mind it's a PFI pipe though

yes, i've done alot of research on turboed maximas, i just figured the hardest part will be the exhaust feed pipe. i have a welder and all, i just dont want to make the feed pipe, lol. can someone make one for me?

you think making the manifold is hard? i have a headache 2nd day in the row reading all the sh!t on Turbocharging and i still cannot undestand how i will set up the boost that i want and control it and then get the right air/fuel ratio  . i was going to ask, but i will hold off a few more days before i start annoying people with my questions.

the routing going backwards, then forwards... more lag. also, last I heard they are still using some crush bends? I don't really keep up with them though - maybe they have changed?

I don't think they use crush bends anymore. At least the last one I saw wasn't crush bent. The original couple of kits were crush bent though.

The 1st few kits PFI sold were crush bends. They stopped that awhile ago.

Mardi got a crush bent pipe.

He even posted that
