Which injectors?

i have emailed super dave about injectiors, but would like some input from everbody else to make a good decision? I am going to run a 2.87, fmic, emanage, a32 maf (use psi sensor for emanage to compensate for when the a32 maf cuts out and tune with emanage), emanage injector/ignition harness, and of course some combination of injector? My question is what do you reccommend size wise, for good start up and everything? i was leaning towards the 550, although some guys were maxing out the 370 with the 2.87 and then using an fmu again, i plan on only using emanage to tune everything!

Thanx thats what i was thinking also, i just didn't wanna go to big and have idle problems! that the emanage couldn't compensate for.

555's are controlled fine via the emanage - me, sx7r, and a few others are running the setup with no problems.

ya idle will be fine with 550cc, i plane on running 740cc and the e-manage can take care of that, so you'll be fine.

Will the e-manage take care of that really?... As far as I've read(i.e. greddy) 150% over stock is what the emanage can handle... so figure 260cc stock injectors... leaves you at 650cc injectors....I suppose you could compensate by doing things like lowering base fuel press. etc. though.

Mardigras is using 740cc injectors with his emanage iirc. I would suggest a z32 maf however rather than a MAP, it is better to have an airflow referenced system than a boost referenced system as far as tuning and safety goes. And with a z32 maf you could remain airflow referenced all the time. They are only like $75

the e-manage can take care of that. all you do is set your stock injectors to 370cc and change your maf to a z32 (7-0-1) i think that is the number for the z32maf, some one can correct me if i'm wrong. but it should do it just like Nealoc187 said Mardigras already tried it, and i also agree with him on the z32maf, just go ahead and get it.

So If I am using say a stock 97 ecu, emanage with ignition/injector, 550cc, and 2.87 I will be able to just swap out the a32 maf and install the z32 maf and when I install the emanage all that is needed is to set it up with the z32 maf coding and the 550 injector coding?(I'm not familiar with emangage tuning at all, someone else will be doing this-please explain it to me)

Yes, however Redmax had a problem with cold starts on the stock ECU, so per Mardigrasmax recommendation, he had to wire up a push start button like the S2000.

Anyways, try skimming through the online Support Tool and eManage manual to help you understand what you're getting into. Scroll down to the FAQs/Manuals: http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/ind...20Installation.

Regurgitating PIECES of the manual, once you have the eManage and Z32 MAF wired, you set the FIRST left three rotary ***** on the side of the eManage brain to 7-0-1:

Then using the support tool, you go in and select NS_HW-2 for the Air Flow Meter change and 260cc to 550cc for the Injector Change:

There are more options to configure like Airflow Map, Timing Map, Additional Injection Map, Pressure sensor input, etc., but I'm no expert and you should READ, then READ again, what the manuals are saying before you go tweaking on your laptop.
