Setting for Emanage?

The surgery on the max has begun. Right now i am installing the emanage and i need to know what are the rotary settings on the Emanage? I searched through about 50 pages and can't find it.

Thanks
Chris

Not sure if 5th gens are the same, but the fourth gens use rotary settings 7-0-1.

never done the install on a 5th gn, but I'd assume for the stock MAF its still 7-0-1...all these settings are is to identify the MAF and vehicle type....so I'd assume its the same. but check on the emanage forum or mailing list

Per studman...7-0-B...if you have the latest 1.39 firmware version. At least on VQ35s that have very similar MAFs.

Do you have to update to the latest version or is it dependant on when the support tool was purchased?

You should, especially if you plan on using the timing harness IIRC.

Firmware of main unit isn't linked to a specific support tool version as far as I know, however I'd always keep up with the latest since it seems to eliminate bugs/quirks people have.

Just BE CAREFUL uploading new firmware to the main unit, MANY many people corrupt theirs and have issues. Find the firmware update directions that are on my350z.com or probably on the yahoo group.

Actually Ice, like microsoft, some of the firmwareupgrades have caused other problems with the units so it is best to stay 1 version back let other people find the bugs!!!

v1.39 seems to have the least amount of bugs and keeps from burning up the coils w/diodes as far as I've read.

Heard any different?

The emanage is hooked up just waiting on my support tool to be delivered.

Btw how in the hell do you remove the fuel rail to install the new injectors? Any tips on this install?

If you have a factory service manual, check out EC section pages 51-52, if not, for $20 go download yourself one.

You could really help out the .org by taking pictures and doing a writeup of your process with the injector/eManage install. I know more and more people will be following in your footsteps incase you have the time/energy to followup.
