Oil feed and return lines

I wanted to get some feedback on what size lines i should use.

Oil return line AN-10 stainless steel
Oil feed line AN-4/ or AN-6 stainless steel.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

i would recommend at most a an-4 line for the feed. often people use as small as an-3 line. I know alot of honda turbo guys like to use 3 line because of hondas high oil pressure and the slight pressure drop that 3 line causes help prevent the turbo oil seals from blowing out.

10 or 12 is fine for oil return but no less than that

3 or 4 for the feed is fine 6 is "to big" and without a resricter could blow out the oil seals in the turbo

I am buying all my oil lines and fittings now. I decided to go with 4an feed and 10an drain. Is anyone using an oil restricter on their 4an line to prevent too much oil pressure at the turbo?

edit: Also, another question I had was for the oil pressure sending unit. What is the threads on it? I have read in other places that the thread is BSP instead of NPT, is that true?

No, not talking about a kit, which kit are you refering to. Im piecing my oil lines and fittings together and Im not sure what the oil pressure sending unit threads are.

The threads in our block are BSPT. I suggest the same as the others -10 or -12 return and -3 or -4 feed.

Do a search of my posts, a couple months back I posted a couple links to some oil line kits that come with the conversion fittings (BSPT to NPT fittings just like we need) and the lines themselves, etc. It was posted in this forum probably 3-4 months ago. I know someone ended up purchasing the kit and said it worked perfectly, just needed an extension for the return line I think because the return line is designed for a turbo that is closer to the oil pan.

Heres the site Nealoc187 posted a link to: http://www.stealthmodeperformance.com

I have already order a kit for my buddies Honda and it was a very nice kit for the money. I am probably just going to buy the BSPT block with NPT ports that they have, havent really seen it anywhere else.

I rather go with the a 10 AN fitting drain instead of the hose, barb and clamp that stealthmodeperformance uses. Its very cheap and they said that they didnt mind doing a custom length but I dont mind spending a little extra money to have a better drain. I plan to buy my lines and fittings from this place: http://www.amstreetrod.com/CatalogIndex.php4
They have some very good prices.

-3 feed lines will be plenty on almost any turbos.

Don't suggest getting the return line from stealthmode, its a tad short to run to the oil pan and the fittings are barb fittings rather than screw in, so there no point in getting the kit. I suggest getting the feed line from them but get the 10AN line and most of the fittings from summitracing.

I was planning to run a 4an or maybe 3an and an oil restrictor for ATP.

Does anyone have an approximate lengh for the drain and oil lines? I know it will not be the same as mine because turbo location and route but just needed an idea. I havent gotten a chance to measure it out.

my drain is 3ft and the feed is 4ft. It'll reach to most anywhere.
