Need help on boost controller!!!!!!

OK,I finally hook up my boost controller and my wastegate dump pipe started to leak exhaust(I got the Tial 38mm wastegate, with the spring that come with the unit)at idle,is this normal?I had the Greddy type S boost controller, and I got it hook up to the metal vaccum line right under the tb.Thanx for your help.

the vacum at idle is pulling your wastegate open

which side of the throttle plate does the vacume line reference from? if its on the engine side of the TB it will pull more vacume then on the filter side

you need to use a vacum port that does not see "as much" vacume or use a check valve inline im not sure which is "commonly used"

Ok,I got vaccum from the engine side of the tb,so that's why it's leaking exhaust due to vaccum. The unit did come with a check valve, but I put it inside the cabin with the controller unit, according to the pic(I don't read Japanese,LOL).

There is a difference in vacuum between where you are getting signal for the boost control solenoid, and where you are getting it for the wastegate (side nipple). You simply need to use a t and get vacuum for both parts from the same source.

So where did you get your source for the boost controller(and everything else from.....)from?The turbo pressure side housing is where I got mine for the wastegate(side nipple),so you think I should T it there to the wastegate(top nipple),and used both top and side nipple from the wastegate?Thanx Joffe.
