Bought a turbo; need Turbo Specs

Ok, so I bought a t3/t4 Rajay 301 EF 80 turbocharger with no shaft play for eighty bucks. I know that the exhaust A/R is .60 . Could anyone help me out with the size, or point me in the right direction? I have tried google and other places, but nothing. Thanks

You can measure the trim of both wheels yourself if you want. I haven't got a clue what any of that other crap is (Rajay 301 EF 80), .60 A/R t3 turbine is pretty small, but for $80 in good shape who cares!

If you take the housings off to measure the trim of the wheels its (inducer^2)/(exducer^2)x100=trim.

I have no idea, that's just the definition of turbo trim.

.60 A/R is small? So it would be smaller than a t25? I want it for my max, I will be using 550cc injectors, and was told that it was an 80 trim, but I'm thinking not. Anyone here use a holset?

have you measured the wheels yet spacifically the compressor wheels big and small diameters very important

you can go here http://64.225.76.178/catalog/comp_wheels.html and compare the sizes to the trim but they wont be exact

the A/R has nothing to do with trim or models any small frame garret turbo could have a .60 A/R t25 t3 t4 any of them but the wheels/trims are all different and thats where the power is

what do you need to know about holset

I know a guy with a Holset on his 10 second GVR4.

A .60 A/R T3 is not smaller than a T25 but it's still really small. That's a typical turbine used on a 1.6-1.8L honda...

The exhaust is a T4, and I did get it off of a honda guy; it was cheap and I can resell it for a lot. I know that holsets are big, but does anyone know what model to get?

No, t3/t4 means it's a t3 exhaust side and t4 compressor side. I've never heard of or seen a turbo mentioned that has t3 compressor side and t4 exhaust side. It wouldn't make any sense unless you were doign a very very low psi, large displacement motor. If it's off a honda I guarantee it's a t3 exhaust and t4 compressor. Do you have a pic of the turbo?

Holset makes a bunch of different sized turbos.

They use epoxy to secure both halves of the turbo together that fails at high temperatures.
