just found a very interesting read about someone who made just over 1k whp with this stuff and @ roughly $2/gal and an effective octane rating around 104-108 its very temping for any boosted car

benifits

high octane street legal pump gas
although more corosive than gasoline all the mustangs are runing standard fuel systems nothing special at all with no reports of problems

disadvantages

stoich is 10:1 so it uses more fuel than gasoline (but not enough to ofset the price advantage )which means possibly needing bigger injectors and also having a tunning device and a wideband to richen the mixer to desired A/F ratios
also the lack of filling stations to purchase the fuel heres a link to a station locator http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/infr...e/locator.html it shows 3 stations in my area not ideal but when weighing the advantages it might be worth it

so i really like the idea and the only thing that really sucks about it is the lack of filling stations selling it
