PocketLOGGER ZT/ ZT-2
PocketLOGGER ZT/ ZT-2
well after much comtemplating on which Wb to purchase, I think I'm leaning toward the Zeitronix ZT-2. I know it doesn't have as much features as the R500 but I can't spend $600(w/ EGT probe) on a WB. Another factor that appeal to me with the ZT-2 is that now they can datalog thru a PDA. Since I don't have a laptop, a PDA can be very helpful with my tunning needs.
So my question is, has anyone have experience with the software or datalogged with the PDA?

All i'm really interested is having a WB A/F & RPM reading so I can street tune it.

Mike- I think its possible. I was able to get the laptop from a friend so I didnt get the pocketlogger but in theory it should work. The Wb unit itself has RJ11 (phone jacks) as an output jacks to a monitor or laptop. Zeitronix sells a RJ11 to a palm adaptor cable so I dont see why you cant just use the palm as the monitor itself and save youself the money of buying their monitor. Also I need datalog software to monitor timing, I'm a total noob when it comes to timing so do you have any recommendations on software that can be hooked up to either a palm or a laptop? Hope my explaination wasnt too confusing.

I would use the Palm for the ZT-2 display and daga logging from the ZT-2 and also use the Palm and Pocketlogger software for ignition timing data logging through the OBD-II port. This works well for me since I don't have a lap top.
I was recommended the Innovate Motorsports wideband by JWT, and have heard good things about it so far on the org. I think it's only $350, and I believe it can datalog as well, but I'm not sure if you need a PDA/laptop....

Time to find a good WB with logging....
Innovate LM1 and LC1 both datalog, only 80 seconds worth on the unit though. There are more feature packed units out there though, I had an LM1 for a few months that I borrowed from a friend. For $100 more you can get an R300 which can datalog tons more, simpler install, better looking, great software etc.
