Stillen Supercharger

Can someone comfirm if Stillen/Vortech stopped carrying superchargers for our cars? What's going on... I was saving up money to get one of these and one day it just disappeared from www.stillen.com.

EDIT: Ok thanks for the replies... I feel stupid now.

Old news. I believe one of the lasts kits went out in Aug/Sept from Stillen. You can still get the supercharger itself from Vortech, you just have to piece together the rest of the kit. Org member Matty is selling the mounting plate. There are threads in the turbocharged/supercharged forum.

No longer can be had from Stillen. I am building a Supercharger plate kit that will be like their more reliable V1 kit that they manufactured 8 years ago. All you will need past the plate kit is the blower, charge pipe, feed line, drain line, drain plate, and fuel stuff. The kits will allow people to build a "reliable" kit for a budget. The kits will be ready in about one to two more weeks..heres a link to more information http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=417703

Its not bad that they stopped selling the V2 kit, Who would want to put a V2 Kit on their car anyway ?!??!?!

I dunno, I think sometimes you save money piecing kits together supercharger and turbo, it's custom parts like the mounting plate for the SC that are hard to find, but Matty has already solved that so...

The good thing about the Supercharger is that you'll have a Supper Reliable setup that you can still keep as a daily driver. The V2 kit, you have to worry about belt contact on the pulley, melted pullies and the number one, shredded belts. I know a kid that remote started his V2 setup one morning from inside his house and came out to a shut down car, broken belt and broken studs on his pulley mounts on his plate.

I've seen you around the org for a while now but never seen you in northern jersey... but anyways, would you be able to source all the parts needed for a supercharger? The only reason is because I'm away in Mexico at least a month at a time and I'm only in Jersey for about a week or two each time I come back. Looks like you have a supercharger yourself... do you install for people too?

I havent really done an install for someone else as of yet but Ive had mine on and off about 8 or 9 times for drawings and test fits of the plate kits I will be selling. As for sourcing out all the parts for someone, I really dont have a lot of time between work, class, and voluteer firefighter. If you need help finding web-sites to buy the equipment, id be glad to help you there

Well that's the only problem I have right now... TIME. When I'm home in Jersey from work in Mexico, I have roughly 1 week... a little longer if there's a holiday, which gives me absolutely no time for my max anymore. Since it's sitting in my garage right now and it probably will be for the next 1~2 years (of course it will be driven time to time by someone at the house and when I'm home), I want to save up some money and get myself a supercharger.

If you are willing or if anyone else is willing I would pay to get this done AT LEAST ALMOST 99.9% PERFECTLY. Since you seem like someone who knows about his supercharger and the maxima, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to make extra bucks getting parts and installing it for me. Let me know if interested.

P.S. I'm not looking to get one at least untill winter passes.
