how do u hook up a water cooled turbo

how do u hook up a water cooled turbo

i just put the turbo on the car ,, it's water cooled and i wasn't sure what is the best way to run the coolant lines if u guys can help thnx

You don`t really need to hook up the water lines, just leave them

Thats a , coolant lines should be ran if the turbo requires it. Especially on a BB setup, it will reduce the heat and save your turbo.
As for where, tap the coolant line between the TB and EGR.

Run the water lines. The 3.5s have a fitting on the rear of the block run it to the turbo etc..

There are coolant lines that run to the Throttle body and EGR on the IM. Run it inline with that or bypass them completely after you disable EGR and getting a bigger TB like pathfinder or modded DBW. I wouldn't recommend not running water to a water cooled turbo; it will lower lifespan of the turbo and make it overheat.

Good idea. People may not realize it, but the VQ30 has the same hole in the block, but it is plugged.

Ive heard a few others with that set up usually over heats the engine. Like with the gt30, others just plug it up.
