I believe Mccord and quicktime performance sell electric cutouts, however I broke 2 of them on my se-r due to ground clearance. As for the wideband I have a plx M300.

There are lots of places that sell electric cutouts including the ones Ari mentioned. Check google for them. Used wideband I dunno besides google. Try checking some boards that have lots of turbo cars like DSM, EVO, Supra, WRX, etc.

Mine isn't. To be honest, I think the boost activated one would get kind of annoying, as it would open up when you just want to hit the gas under normal driving. Plus the car sounds awesome idling with an open exhaust.

How long ago was that? Do you get any leakage at all? I've heard the electric cut-outs leak before long...

That was back in March. I did have some leaking problems, but I think that was partly because I had a backfire issue that blew it open. I re-siliconed it, so it seals fairly well now. I think with any cutout you will get a little bit of leakage.

what you say is true, but it can be controlled through the use of a boost controller. Also it is relatively more compact than the electric ones i have seen. If your car is really low like mine it makes for a good choice.

PS i have mine sitting in my room and once school is over next week i'll slap it on and give a review.

I don't have any pics of it installed on the car, but here are some pictures of my Mccord Power plate installed on a Summit 2.5" cutout in my testpipe. I like it and the only problems that I have with it is that it sticks sometimes. You have to get under there every 3-6 months and put some grease on the main shaft that the plate rotates on or it can get a bit sticky on you. Also, every 6 months or so, you have to reapply some red RTV where the plate seals so it won't leak. But, when it does leak, it's barely noticable. I'm very satisfied with my cutout.
