FWD Drag Alignment
FWD Drag Alignment
Getting my alignment done Monday. I have read some info on this. What I gather is zero camber for perfectly flat contact patch, zero caster and perfect thrust angle for no wheel friction. It has also been recomended that I set the car up exactly like I will run it, jack the back coil overs up and ask the slignment shop to lift the front end an couple of inches up with a jack when they align it to simulate the weight transfer. Do any of you guys have real world experiance on this or can you point me to a forum that I can find better info. Thanks.
I would check the drag forums on Honda-Tech, Honda or not some of the fastest and most experienced FWD guys are over there...
2 good ones for example...

Mardi let me know what you end up doing... I was thinking about this yesterday also and was thinking of jacking the coil overs way up in the back, then going with maybe -0.5 or -1 deg camber and a wee bit of toe-in but didn't think about lifting up the front. If you're going to do that then the question is how much does the front end come up on launch? I know there are expensive ways of measuring it but maybe something could be rigged up on the cheap...
