Hey guys Im having a little trouble with my car ideling down and almost dieing and sometimes it does die. I have the 370s with the jwt ecu and the z32 maf, so my question is what do most ppl set their fuel pressure regulator on, mine is set at 70psi thats where it runs best I think im flooding and out thats why is causing it to die, but when I turn it down to like 35-45 psi its starts missing and runs like crap and can hardly build a pound of boost. Can someone help me out?

 

uhh...at idle you are at 70PSI!?!?


Mine is at 42....at 70 the car would run like serious ****!

Try turning your MAF 90 degrees for the bad idle if you have not already (see the sticky I posted in this forum).

Do you also have a rising rate to provide extra fuel?

Do you have a leaky o-ring?

 

A wideband would be a nice addition to see you accurate air/fuel ratio. A datalogger at the least would let you read your fuel trims and narrowband voltages.
