I have considered an oil cooler, but haven’t purchased one yet. I will into it once the hot summer months approach.

As it is I spin all 1st, 2nd, and involuntarily shift lanes in 3rd gear….and I have yet to hit full boost. I firmly believe that spraying and traction simply can’t co-exist in my car. I wish I knew how Mardi, Hal, Blu and the other big-power folks lay the power down to the ground

I modified all mounts locations to lower the power train:
-Front/Rear/Driver side mounts: 1/2” Aluminium spacer (longer bolts required)
-Passenger: re-drilled mount attachment point 1/2" lower from stock (stock bolt is fine)

I dropped my powertrain about 6 month ago and have had zero drivability problems to date, except better handling as a side effect.

If you have the time/machinary at your expense, you could make alot of money selling a "drivetrain lowering kit" on the .org.
I know I would buy one, and i'm still with an NA 3.0....

I suppose I could cut the plates, drill the holes and sell them along with the hardware, but anyone with access to the raw material and a basic press drill can do these.

Here is a closer to look at what my dropped powertrain looks like:

Yep, 275 MT ET Radials make third stick like a champ for me, for 2nd I need to turn the boost down to 1bar for them to hook, 1st is still a tap dance but much better than 255 Pilots Sports for sure. The Quaife helps a bit too.

Any trouble mounting the S/C with the lowered drivetrain?

I actually feared it would be, but it was not a problem for me since I am running the blower in a straight discharge CCW fashion for my FMIC. It only required cutting the sheet metal further back for proper clearance. All else was pretty straight forward.

I couldn’t say whether it would affect clearance for the the stillen charge pipe.

Nice job on lowering the drivetrain. I always wanted to do that if I had kept my maxima.

It would NOT be able to mount on the motor if you are running a Front Charge Pipe for your intake.

There is only about 1/4"-1/2" clearance under the Blower unit before it would hit the fender well.

Intercooler would have to be mandatory to give the charge pipe a different route to go(away from the motors heat, another plus). How about the clearance with the motor mount/fuse box it looks awfully close but might be just the angle of the shot.

Wow, that's one hell of a setup you got there. Props for the dual exhaust and the lowering of the engine. That's some incredible work. Just be careful with the fuel, it would be a shame to have that blow up now!
Congrats, now we needs numbers and track times

He used a 3.5ltr motor with 3.0 Timing/Cover with Timing Equipment since hes using 3.0 water pump, and 3.0 wiring harness.

Anyone want to develop a full solution for the 3.5vq? I mean like install and go? Maybe something that would fit in a 6th GEN?

Last time we chatted, he said he was shooting to be the first to break 400whp with a supercharger. It's been done with turbos and NO2 as far as I know but never with a superMCcharger. By the way it breaks traction almost all the way through 3rd gear I'd say he's pretty darned close to his goal or possibly even over...as soon as it's tuned we'll see what this beast is really gonna do. As for now, spinning tires at any speed below 80 will have to serve as proof of it's power.

Laterz NASAman oh and to my post count biz-nitch.
