Fabbing hot parts.. (pics)

Started fabbing the hot parts today for our VQ swapped/turbocharged B15 Sentra.. This piece puts the outlet from the engine, right under the starter, facing towards the driver's side.. From there, a V-band flange will be attached, and then a 90* bend will follow, going into the bottom of the turbo. The downpipe will run right above it, and between the y-pipe/block, under the oil pan, and out towards the back. Tight squeeze.. but, it will fit. We are completely redesigning the front/rear engine mounts, and eliminating the engine cross member.

The merge collector came out pretty nice..

Looking good. I always appreciate hearing about the projects you're involved with, you really seem like you know what you're doing.

I am building a tubular (boxed) style rear mount, which will attach to the factory K-member at 3 different points. The side mounts will be solid schedule 80 box tubing/3/16" plate. The engine will NOT move in the chassis.

Maybe I'll get around to finishing Frosty's car soon.. That's the one that you guys will be tweaking out about.. I think we're going to bust a few records for the FWD VQ. It's been slow-going on his car.. simply because I can't dedicate 2 months to the car all together, which is about what it would take to finish it. So, I work on it in bits/pieces..but, when it's done, it will be one nasty Max..

It would be nice if you could get it done sometime before the end of this year's track season
